1899 SOLAR Model S Bicycle Motorcycle Light Lamp Badger Brass Mfg Co Kenosha WI

Description

Offered is the early Brass Bicycle Headlamp, type Solar by The Badger Brass Mfg. Company, Kenosha, WI, USA.  The bicycle lamp is in fair to good condition.  The wingnut adjustment has one broken wing-visible in the photos. There is a repair on the back edge, appears to be solder-it too is visible in the photos. The lamp appears to be complete otherwise.  Both red jewels appear to be clean originals. The front clear lens is also in place with its retaining ring. The bottom fuel canister unscrews properly and it too is in good shape. Pick up the old Headlamp for your own vintage bicycle or motorbike.  Offered strictly "as is" and as found amongst the radioman's estate parts boxes.  No attempt was made to clean or polish the lamp, except removal of surface dust and cobwebs.
